Welcome! Refugees Online is a project sponsored by Brisbane City Council to assist people who have arrived in Australia as refugees to access the Internet. This site is intended as a starting point for beginners, linking to useful resources in various languages. Click on on a language above to begin browsing.

We hope you enjoy using this site. All feedback is very welcome.

Free Internet access and training
is available at the Annerley  Literacy Centre (for all refugees) and at the Refugee Claimants Support Centre (for asylum seekers only). We encourage you to download the flyer (available in ten languages) and share it with others. Note that the Annerley Literacy Centre has moved up the street 50 metres to: 12/478 Ipswich Road, Annerley.
