A Just Australia
The A Just Australia campaign is managed by the Refugee Council of Australia. The core mission of the campaign is to campaign for positive changes to government policy on refugee and asylum seekers. click here.
Refugee Action Collective
The Refugee Action Collective in Brisbane is a broad group of concerned people from all walks of life dedicated to fighting for the rights of refugees and asylum seekers, and for the reform of Australia’’s immigration policies. The main purpose of RAC is to uphold the right of asylum in Australia and to inform and mobilise people to challenge government policy and legislation which adds to the suffering of refugees and asylum seekers. click here

Local event in support of Yongah Hill Convergence. For the fourth time in the last couple of years, RAC Qld (those of us who can't go to Northam) will hold a refugee rights rally in solidarity with the Northam event, outside Brisbane's own detention centre, the BITA (Brisbane Immigration Transit Accommodation).
